LUKMEF Gives Aid To GBV Survivors

Group of people receiving dignity kits

Wednesday, 24 July 2019, LUKMEF distributed 125 dignity kits to 75 IDPs and 50 vulnerable female Mbororo women and girls living in Buea, Tiko and Mutengene. The beneficiaries (most of them GBV survivors), have no means of economic empowerment or sustainability. As such, they expressed gratitude especially for the kettles, which they direly needed during prayers. “Allah will continue to bless LUKMEF”, one of them said.  LUKMEF looks forward to engaging Buea and Yaounde based Indigenous Mbororo ladies on GBV activities within the framework of UNFPA projects this year 2019.
